About Us We are often described as a small community based pub that over the years has developed a warm friendly atmosphere, and is known for welcoming visitors. In fact we have a sign in our bar that reads "There are no strangers here, only friends that have not yet met "We are a pub that serves good, homemade specials and have no pretensions of becoming a restaurant that serves beer. Our cask ales are always served at their best as Doug takes great pride in keeping his beers in peak condition and is undertaking a Master of Beer course.
There is also a weekly quiz night and charity nights in aid of Kent Air Ambulance, live music on occasions and a long standing link with the Hartley Morris Men.
Homemade Food We serve a range of good wholesome food with a selection of main meals and desserts available daily between 12:00 and 2:00 lunch times and Friday & Saturday evenings between 7:00 & 9:00. The bar menu is also available between these times please free to call Sue or Doug to reserve your table on 01732 882409 See The Menu
